The Barbosa's faced a nightmare when they received the call at work that their home was aflame and their beloved family pets were inside. Their first instinct - save our animals. Brave responders saved their beloved dog and located one cat who both were initially treated for smoke inhalation. Later on, they were able to locate the remaining two family cats among the wreckage after an immediate circulation of notices to assist and look for the remaining pets. They did not stop until all had been located, covered in soot and aftermath reminders. Grayson (Gray), their loyal family dog, has now been transferred to Buffalo as he also suffered burns and smoke inhalation that the initial oxygen treatments could not assist with.

Our Mission:

We believe that a reflection of a soul’s character lies in how they treat their pets, especially amidst a crisis. Savannah and her family’s unwavering love for their fur family is evident. Now, we’re rallying together to support them during this challenging time. Our mission is clear: rebuild the life they have so suddenly lost, restore their hope, and bring Gray back to health.

Gray’s Journey:

Gray, the heart and soul of their home, is currently receiving specialized care at a vet clinic in Buffalo. The medical team is monitoring his progress and providing extensive treatment for his burns. Our goal is to see Gray running and playing again, surrounded by the love of his humans.
