Support Savannah & Zachary for Baby Wolfie's Care
Donation protected
Hi, I am Sharon Zachary’s sister & Savananhs sister in law who is truly a sister to me. And of course Wolfies aunt.
I am going to tell you Wolfie’s Story…
Savannah & Zachary are expecting baby boy who we call Wolfie in May - over the last few months, High Risk Doctors and Children’s Hospital have found that Baby Wolfie has multiple defects in his midline. Defects such as duplicated kidney, severe hydronephrosis, a large subaortic VSD (hole in his heart), and anorectal malformations. Doctors seem to think Wolfie has what is called VACTERL association, which is a combination of multiple congenital defects.
Wolfie’s condition has been stable until recently when at an Ultrasound it was found that the Amniotic Fluid had severely dropped. Savannah was diagnosed with Oligohydramnios and admitted immediately into Riverside’s High Risk unit to monitor Wolfie and create a plan.
Today (3.17.25) Wolfie is 30 weeks - and the doctors at Children’s and MFM are weighing the outcomes between early delivery, and his worsening condition in his bladder/kidney and bowels. He will need immediate surgery at birth.
Currently Savannah is staying inpatient for close monitoring - and it is unknown how soon they will suggest early delivery. Everything is touch and go, what is known is that she will be in the hospital for a while.
As she’s in the hospital, her five boys are at home with Dad (Zachary) while he manages their school schedules, sports, traveling back and forth to the hospital (45 min each way) and trying to work his job at the same time.
Savannah is the owner of Aurora Boheme and is self employed, meaning all of the time she’s in the hospital she is unable to work and keep income coming in for the family as well.
There’s obviously a lot of hardships, between out of pocket costs, gas, food, income loss, and more.
They are not expecting anything, but greatly appreciative of any help at all.
Venmo is @ AuroraBoheme if you prefer to donate directly to Savannah & Zachary in that way.
Prayers for Wolfie to be able to grow stronger in the womb, and be able to handle surgery at his young age are always welcomed and needed! Please keep the Ward family in your thoughts during this time!
