I am starting this GoFundMe to support my granddaughter, my son’s youngest daughter, Savannah Burton. Vannah, who is only 16, was just diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Because of where the tumor is, surgery is not an option. Savannah is facing 6 months of intensive treatment with chemo. Treatments will consist of chemotherapy 24 hours a day for 5 continuous days. Then, she will get to be home for 16 days and then back to the hospital for her 5 days of chemo treatment. This scheduled treatment plan will last for 6 months, and without a doubt, it will incur costs that are hard, and sometimes impossible, to plan for. Our goal is to help cover the cost of meals, gas for back and forth to treatments, clinic visits, and tests over the next 6 months, as well as missed work for Vannah’s parents, Bryan and Tessa. They will be commuting almost an hour each way to and from home to the hospital during the next 6 months. Any help provided and donations will be very much appreciated.
