Subject: Helping Savanah and Others Rebuild After the Cobb Lane Fire

Dear friends,

Let me introduce you to Savanah Hrbek — my wife’s and Brad Hrbek’s daughter, and my stepdaughter. For the past ten years, Savanah has poured her heart into Blush, her salon located in the historic Cobb Lane block on 20th Street in Birmingham, AL.

This past Friday, October 31, 2025, tragedy struck when the entire block was lost to fire. It was heartbreaking to see this cherished part of Birmingham — a place filled with so many memories — go up in flames.

Savanah lost everything she had built for her business, along with four others who sublet salon spaces within the same building.

It’s our wish to help Savanah and her co-tenants rebuild and relaunch their livelihoods. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and the community to join us in this effort.
