Long road to recovery, but with God's grace, my hubby is alive and on his way to recovery. He had two strokes (small but 2), one on each side of the brain. After some tests, they found that he has a PFO (small, usually harmless opening in the top upper chamber). Usually, it closes after birth, but in some cases, it does not. That's the case for Saul. It can cause a stroke. So far, no other tests have come out positive indicating the reason for the stroke, so the last test will be putting him on a heart monitor for 4 weeks to see if he has any abnormal heart rhythms. If that is negative (I pray for that), he might need surgery to close the chamber. This is what I'm praying for because it pretty much protects him like 95 percent that a stroke won't happen again. Outpatient PT and OT, blood thinners, healthier lifestyle, here we come. And no more smoking . Thank you, Lord, and each and every one of you for prayers, reaching out for anything we needed, our friends and family that visited. Saul won't be able to work for a while, but I have faith God will provide.
Going home !
