On October 27, 2025, our beloved Saul Sandoval was on his way home from work, patiently waiting at a red light—something we all do every day—when his life changed in an instant. A drunk driver slammed into him from behind, leaving Saul with extensive injuries and severe burns to his right arm. Since that night, he has endured a high-risk spinal operation and skin grafts, and doctors have warned that he may never walk again.
We hold onto every bit of hope we can, and recently we received a small but meaningful one: Saul has been taken off the respirator and is now breathing on his own. While this is encouraging news, he still faces a long, painful, and uncertain recovery ahead. The emotional, physical, and financial strain on Saul and his entire family has become overwhelming.
Saul is a devoted family man—a loving husband, father, and grandfather—who has worked tirelessly in the aerospace manufacturing industry to provide for those he loves. He has always lived his life helping others, showing kindness, generosity, and strength in every chapter of his life. Now, he needs our help.
Tragically, this is not the first time Saul has been the victim of a drunk driving crash. In 1992, as a young man riding in a church van with his toddler daughter, their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver in what remains one of the deadliest collisions in Orange County, CA. Eight people were killed and eleven injured, including Saul and his daughter. The drunk driver responsible was never found. That earlier trauma left lifelong scars, and now Saul is forced to face this nightmare once again.
Today, Saul is confronted with insurmountable financial burdens—lost wages, medical bills, ongoing rehabilitation, mobility equipment, and necessary modifications to his home to accommodate his new medical needs. His family is doing everything they can, but the road ahead is long and costly.
We are asking for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer. Anything you can give will help ease the immense pressure on Saul and his family as they fight through this difficult time.
Please consider reposting this so it may reach as many people as possible.
Thank you for standing with Saul. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
