Hi Guys. For those who don't know, Ali is pretty sick and currently in the Neuro ICU at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Last week she went in for emergency bowel surgery. She had 81 cm of her bowel removed that was dead and 25% of her colon. This surgery saved her life. She is recovering but still has another surgery on the horizon to reinsert her shunt that drains the water off her brain. They have told us she will remain in the ICU for her entire hospital course. More than likely we will be there for another month. We have been traveling back and forth to Indy daily and it is getting expensive. Many of my friends have reached out asking how they can help. Any help is greatly appreciated as well as all prayers and good vibes. My Sass is a fighter for sure! 

UPDATE:  Ali is now on her 4th bowel surgery. Her original incisions leaked causing her to become septic. She now has a colostomy and is still intubated.
