Many of you know me, but for those who don’t: I am an activist based in Kansas City. I organize with KC Women’s Action Collective, Missouri Mutual Aid, Show Me Action Collective, and I’m the founder of TransAct KC. I’m also a former organizer with Free Palestine KC and 50501 Missouri.

I believe deeply in intersectional activism, anti-racism, bodily autonomy, shared liberation, and collective social justice across every facet of the human condition.

Underneath all of that work, I’m also a white trans woman doing her best to survive in a state, a country, and a world that too often works to erase people like me—even our children.

Over the past five years, I’ve given everything I have to this work. From the children of Gaza, to trans kids in Missouri, to BIPOC people facing police violence, to pregnant people everywhere, I’ve shown up with whatever I could give—whenever it was needed.

But now I need help.

I’ve been unemployed for eight months, scraping by through occasional freelance work and the kindness of friends and family. Despite applying tirelessly, I’ve struggled to find a stable job in tech or marketing. A few leads are on the horizon, but even if one comes through, I’m still at serious risk of losing my home.

When I bought my first house last year, I never imagined I’d be here just one year later—facing foreclosure, buried in debt, and watching my credit collapse.

So I’m asking—humbly and urgently—for your support. Please help me buy a little time to keep my home and begin to rebuild. Anything you can give is deeply appreciated.
