It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Shakeesha Salmon—affectionately known as Sasha or Shakeesha Salmon-Browne—on August 28, 2025.

On July 6, 2025, Sasha suffered a sudden heart attack which caused cerebral edema. Despite all efforts, she peacefully transitioned from this life. Her departure has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Sasha was a phenomenal mother, a devoted wife, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and a treasured friend. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and boundless generosity touched countless lives. She lived with grace, loved deeply, and gave selflessly.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful legacy Sasha leaves behind. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

We continue to raise funds to assist with:

-Efforts to bring Sasha home so she can be laid to rest with the love, dignity, and peace she deserves.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to share an urgent and deeply personal situation involving our beloved Shakeesha Salmon—affectionately known as Sasha or Shakesesha Salmon-Browne.

While visiting St. Thomas, USVI on July 6, 2025, Sasha suffered a sudden heart attack and was immediately hospitalized at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital. Due to the severity of her condition, she was airlifted to HCA Kendall Regional Medical Hospital in Florida, where she experienced significant complications, including severe cerebral edema. Thanks to the tireless efforts of her medical team and the power of prayer, Sasha is still with us. However, her condition remains critical, and while we continue to hope, the road ahead is uncertain.

Sasha is a phenomenal mother, a devoted wife, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and a truly cherished friend. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit have left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A dedicated professional, Sasha approaches her work with passion and pride. She finds joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time outdoors, relaxing at the beach, and listening to her favorite oldies music. More than anything, Sasha’s greatest happiness has always come from being surrounded by loved ones and connecting with new people. Whether through her delicious cooking, her infectious laughter, or the way she makes everyone feel at home, Sasha has always given wholeheartedly—and now, she needs us to give that love and support back.
