Hi everyone,
We're currently fundraising for our family friend, Saron Semere, who urgently needs surgery.
Below is a message from Saron herself:
Hello, my name is Saron Semere, a 21-year-old member of the Eritrean National Association of the Deaf. I am proud to be the first hard-of-hearing graduate from the College of Business and Social Sciences, Adi-Keih (CBSS), achieving this through lip reading and determination.
For the past 8 years, I have been suffering from profound sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) and thoracic scoliosis, living with constant pain day and night. Due to financial hardship, I have not yet been able to receive the treatment I urgently need.
I live with my single mother, who raised me alone after my father passed away when I was very young. She works by cleaning and washing clothes for others, and we have not been able to afford my medical care.
With the help of kind individuals, I have started arranging treatment at Frankfurt University Hospital in Germany, but I am still at home and urgently need funds to move forward. The full cost is not yet determined.
I have a dream to support my mother, serve the deaf community, and give back to my country - but I need your help to get there.
Even a small contribution can make a difference. Thank you for your support.
