I'm Kim Hong, and I'm asking for help for my amazing employee and friend, Sarita. At just 27 years old, Sarita is bravely fighting kidney disease caused by an autoimmune disease called IGA nephropathy and is currently waiting for a life-changing transplant scheduled for February 19th. She hasn't been able to work, and it's been incredibly hard, but Sarita is one of the strongest, kindest people I know. She's been with me for five years, and in that time, she's become the heart of our team—always remembering birthdays, listening when someone is down, and showing up with a smile even on the toughest days. She kept coming to work without complaining until she simply couldn't anymore, and it broke my heart to see her struggle.
Now, the bills for her surgery, medications, follow-up appointments, rent, and lost wages are piling up fast. I hate that she's worrying about money while she should be focused on healing and recovery. As her boss and friend, I'm stepping up to help: I'll personally add 10% on top of every donation we receive to make your support go even further for Sarita. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference. If you can't donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Our goal is to help Sarita focus on getting better so she can return to work with her positive energy and big smile that brightens everyone's day.
Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can offer. Sarita truly deserves this chance to heal and get back to the life she loves. With gratitude, Kim Hong.
