Support Sarge's Journey to Recovery

Sarge in charge you are loved. When I think of this dog I think of how strong he truly is. His presence in our family came at a really challenging time and like all good dogs he made home feel safe. For those of you following our family journey you know how much he means to us all.

Sarge is 8 years old and the center of the home. He is our protector and family. This dog has been through so much with our family.

Sarge came down suddenly with concerning symptoms yesterday that lead us to take him to the vet. He had been throwing up foam

for 24 hours and seemed to be getting worse not better so we took him in. They ran tests and determined he was in kidney distress.

The damage they say to kidneys doesn’t fix itself, but I’m praying he can have a quality of life with proper care.

My options given were to put him down or attempt treatment fluids and antibiotic to counter the symptoms until we know the root of his symptoms . I said try it all because he’s my baby , but these financial situations sometimes come at the worse time.

My momma heart breaks to know options are few and prayer is the best thing that I can do. I want to try everything and right now treatment is already more then we had time to save for and can afford.

With life changes happening quickly this season

of life is making for some obstacles. Sarge deserves the best treatment and our goal is to get him on a raw diet and treatment for kidneys asap. For now he’s still receiving treatments overnight until he’s stable enough to get home GOD willing and then my goal is to give him the best at home care I can. I hope to make life comfortable for him, he was just beginning to start up his morning routine again with me . It breaks my heart to think he won’t be around to enjoy this new season of life.
