My name is Meagan, and I am embarrassed I have to do this! My horse Sarge is currently at Peter and Smith Equine Hospital fighting for his life. I need help with his vet bills as we know they will increase by the day! Sarge was originally my wrangler horse at Rocking Horse Ranch in NY. We led many a trail ride and taught new riders how to ride on the trails, seeing the light in their eyes as they fell in love with horses. After Sarge was deemed to not have the right temperament to be a guest horse, he was "fired" from his job and came home with me. He has been my trusty partner for the past 13 years (after working with him at the Ranch for 4 years). I love this boy and want to be able to give him every chance in the world to get better! We recently moved to get our animals and ourselves into a better situation. However, we all know moving is not cheap, and this has all happened at a horrible time! Please know I am not normally a person to ask for help! I try my best to figure it out and not be a bother, but this time I need to ask for help! Any little bit helps! I am also willing to work extra jobs and have listed many things for sale. I work full-time and am not someone who likes to have a handout, but my boy needs help!
