My name is Robert Martini and I’m one of the junior lifeguard instructors for the Sarasota Junior Lifeguard program. I helped start the program back in 2008 with a few other guards. To get it off the ground, I prone paddled 36 miles and raised $7,000. The program has been a great success, but now our junior lifeguard trailer is on its last leg. It’s 15 years old and we need a new one to replace it. We use the trailer to hold and move equipment around for the juniors. We have boards, can buoys, and tents. We are in desperate need of a new one. If we can raise enough money, I will let the junior guards give me a mullet!! That’s right?! A full-blown mullet. Please help us train the lifeguards of tomorrow.
