Several weeks ago, Coco’s & Angus’ human tragically passed away. Trapped, the cats survived for many days without water (they were able to open a bag of food).
When Animal Control found them, they were dehydrated, traumatized, and required medical attention.
When Sara learned about Coco & Angus’ fate, she leapt forward to save them...because Riverside County Animal Control euthanizes unadopted animals after 30 days. Without knowing the cats or their deceased human, she volunteered to adopt both Coco & Angus. Bless you, Sara.
Angus (the long-haired Maine Coon) is apparently quite traumatized. His fur is matted—including deeply embedded fecal matter. Poor Angus requires immediate attention, specialized grooming, and—possibly—ongoing medical care.
Though less traumatized, Coco also needs veterinarian services.
If you are able, please join in the spirit of Sara's generosity and kindness and help care for Coco & Angus.
Both will require special care, veterinary work, possibly medications, and more—all of which are expensive and an unexpected burden on a kind & gracious young lady (who, despite the turmoil associated with starting a new career at the end of the month, saved Coco & Angus from a literal death sentence).
Thank you very much for any assistance you provide to help care for Coco & Angus.
