Our family is asking for help for Sara as she faces another devastating setback in her recovery journey. After spending months in and out of the hospital, Sara was finally sent home earlier this week, and we truly believed the worst was behind her. But yesterday, everything changed. She became extremely lethargic and was unable to keep down any food or liquids. She was rushed back to the hospital by ambulance, where doctors discovered an infection along with serious complications involving her intestines. She is looking at potential surgery in the upcoming days while doctors search for alternatives . These past few months have been incredibly difficult physically, emotionally, and financially. Because of her ongoing medical complications and repeated hospitalizations, Sara has been unable to work, and doctors now expect her recovery to take even longer than originally hoped. She will continue to be out of work for the next few months as she undergoes more treatment and focuses on healing. If you know Sara, you know she has always struggled with asking for help and would never ask for it on her own. But right now, this is a burden we can help ease for her while she focuses on healing and getting through this difficult time. Many people have reached out asking how they can support her during this time. Right now, the greatest need is help covering basic living expenses, medical-related costs, and daily care while she is unable to work and fighting to recover. If you are able to donate, share, or keep Sara in your prayers, our family would be deeply grateful. Every bit of support helps relieve some of the overwhelming stress she and our family are carrying right now. Thank you all for the love, kindness, prayers, and support you have already shown Sara throughout this journey.
