My name is John McCoy and I'm raising funds to benefit my girlfriend Sara Tonn. On March 15, she slipped on the ice at home. She dislocated her ankle and broke it in 3 places. She has been in the hospital for over a week. She's had one surgery and is waiting for a second one. She will be off work at least 6-8 weeks. She was denied requests for short or long term disability. Her hospital stay has already reached $40,000 to date. She desperately needs help with that growing bill as well as rent, food and car payments. She is a hard worker who never likes to ask for help. I wish I could help her but my funds are limited. We know money is tight everyone, but even a few dollars would help. She cries everyday thinking about how she will pay her bills. It's taking a big toll on me also and it tears me up to see her cry.
