Hello there! My name is Wil, and my mother is dying. I know that happens to a lot of people, but that does not make this any easier.
My mother's name is Sara, and she turned 70 this year. She has terminal cancer, peritoneal carcinoma to be exact, and has been given between six months to two years to live. My mom has some things she has always dreamed of doing, and now her time to do them before she gets too sick is ticking.
My family and I have started this gofundme to seek the support of our community to help Sara live a little before she is no longer with us earth side. My mom has a really simple "bucket list"; she wants to pet a cow, to go camping in a camper, to see the ocean, and a few other things like that. She has simple wishes, but unfortunately my family is not equipped to financially make them happen while also ensuring she has the most comfortable medical care possible. We are asking people to donate so that she can have these experiences, while she is strong enough to enjoy them.

Here are the current plans that have been put in place for Sara's adventures:
- August 5th - Sara will be visiting the Georgia Aquarium to see the Whale Sharks there. This is the BIG ONE that she has been dreaming of long before this diagnoses. The goal with this trip is to make it happen before she starts treatment on August 8th.
- September 7th - Sara and her family will be visiting the beach! The Hagler family has so kindly offered my mother the use of their home at the beach. She is beyond excited to see the ocean and smell the salty air!
