Hello, my name is Cristina, and I am the mother of six beautiful children.

At the beginning of this year, our lives were turned upside down when my second oldest daughter, Sara, was diagnosed with HLH, a rare and aggressive autoimmune disease. This diagnosis has led to ongoing treatments that have been physically, emotionally, and financially draining for our family.

We recently moved to Canada, and while we are so grateful to be here, we are struggling with financial hardships due to medical expenses, unpaid bills, and the fact that we haven’t been able to secure steady work yet. Due to Sara’s treatment, I am unable to work full time and am focused on caring for my children, while my husband is the only one able to seek employment.
