Support Sara's Car Payment Crisis

I'm Sara.

I'm asking for help with my car payment.

I know people are struggling, so please let me explain the situation.

My husband worked for FedEx Ground for over a year. We were stable and even able to start building a small savings account.

Then my much-beloved cat, Lafayette, was diagnosed with cancer. We spent all of our savings trying to help him. He passed a few weeks after he got sick.

Then, right after that, FedEx cut my husband's health insurance, followed by cutting his route down to less than half the money he made previously.

He immediately started looking for a new job while doing DoorDash to try and keep some money coming in.

I am disabled, but I tried to cut expenses by canceling any streaming services and reducing our phone plan and internet.

In this time, we have kept the mortgage paid but have fallen behind on the car payment.

My husband found a local, good-paying job recently. However, they don't start paying for two weeks. He is in training now and still doing DoorDash.

But the car payment needs to be caught up as soon as possible.

So, I'm asking for help with the single car payment to keep the car from being repossessed.

Once he starts getting paid from the new job, we will be more stable financially.
