We are reaching out to you with an urgent request to help us save and sustain our beloved Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program at Grappling Akademija Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the past six years, our program has provided a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for more than 100 children, teaching them the art of BJJ, instilling discipline, confidence, and a sense of community.

Our Achievements

Our team at Grappling Akademija Sarajevo has proudly won multiple team trophies at European championships, and many of our young athletes have triumphed in prestigious tournaments, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and the effectiveness of our training.

⛺️ Adem Redzovic’s Annual Bosnia Jiu Jitsu Adventure Camp

For several years, we have had the honor of hosting Adem Redzovic’s annual Bosnia Jiu Jitsu Adventure Camp. Adem Redzovic, a renowned BJJ black belt from Chicago, has brought his expertise, passion, and international community to Sarajevo. His camp not only enhances our technical skills but also fosters a global camaraderie that inspires our members.

Our Current Challenge

Unfortunately, we have recently lost our training location. This has put our entire program at risk, jeopardizing the future of our young athletes and the positive impact BJJ has on their lives. To continue our mission, we need to secure new mats for a new training space.

How You Can Help

We have a unique opportunity to receive mats from Adem Redzovic’s Downtown Jiu Jitsu Club in Chicago. However, we need your support to cover the costs of shipping these mats from Chicago to Sarajevo. The total cost of this endeavor is substantial, and we cannot do it alone.

- Shipping costs for the mats from Chicago to Sarajevo

- Any necessary customs fees and logistics

- Setting up the new training space for our kids
