Sarah is facing laryngeal rhabdomyosarcoma for the second time at just 38 years old. Years ago, she battled endometrial cancer, which led to a hysterectomy in her early 30s. Now, after experiencing persistent hoarseness and a recent illness, doctors discovered a tumor in her throat. She’s still waiting to learn if the cancer has spread, and the uncertainty is overwhelming. This diagnosis comes on top of several financial hardships, many of which began during her first battle with cancer. Sarah recently lost her home, and now she’s facing another round of treatment while already struggling to get by.
Sarah and I have been friends since high school, and even though life has taken us in different directions, our bond has never faded. She’s one of the strongest and bravest people I know, always putting others before herself. Because of this, she hasn’t always had the support she deserves when she’s needed it most. Now, as she prepares for treatment, she’s worried about how she’ll manage medical bills, transportation to appointments, and daily living costs. Missing work could mean missing pay, adding even more stress to an already difficult situation.
I’m asking for help to give Sarah some relief from the financial strain so she can focus on her health and recovery. Every donation will go directly toward her medical expenses, transportation, and basic needs while she fights this battle. Your support will make a real difference for someone who has always given so much to others.
