Hello, my name's Sarah, and on 2/24 I sustained a terrible injury. I slipped on ice and fell, which led to a compound fracture in my ankle and lower leg. My 10-year-old daughter placed the call to 911, while my 17-year-old daughter applied a tourniquet to my lower leg to stop the bleeding. I was rushed to the hospital where I underwent an emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and realign my bones. I've now received 2 surgeries, and I am currently recovering at home. I am unable to apply any weight to my leg, which means bed rest.

I am beyond blessed that my children have stepped up and are not only taking care of me, but trying to maintain the household and all the chores and things that go along with that.

With me out of commission for the next few months, I am desperately in need of help financially. There are bills coming in that I no longer have the money for. My family would be so appreciative for any help. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us out.
