Sarah is our daughter and our friend. Recently, Sarah was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an unexpected and complex cancer that has turned her world upside down. After multiple surgeries related to tumor removal, 30 proton radiation and chemo therapies & the remainder of 2026 calendared for chemotherapy, Sarah is facing each day with remarkable courage. Her journey will involve travel to cities for specialized treatment, rehab, and potentially long-term care. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support Sarah, but we know we can't do it alone.
Sarah has always been a source of light and support for those around her. As a competitive soccer player in Sacramento for 9 years, she learned the value of teamwork and community. After graduating from CK McClatchy High School in 2023, she continued her studies at UC Davis, earning a degree in Biological Psychology with a minor in Global Studies in the winter quarter of 2026. Throughout her academic career, Sarah has been deeply involved in campus life, from volunteering with the UCD Kesem chapter to performing with Slaughterhouse Sketch Comedy and participating in various campus groups. Her kindness and dedication have touched many lives, and she has built a wide and diverse group of friends who admire her strength and compassion.
Thank you for the overwhelming love and support we have received from family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and the soccer community. Your thoughts and prayers have supported us through this time and have helped us more than you could possibly know. If you would like to make a monetary contribution, funds will be used to cover medical-related expenses and provide Sarah with the support she needs to focus on getting back on her feet. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time as Sarah works toward a bright future.
