My name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. Around Thanksgiving, I received two life-changing diagnoses just weeks apart: an inoperable brain tumor and a breast mass. While these two conditions are unrelated, they have both brought a wave of uncertainty and fear into my world. Since then, my days have been filled with countless medical appointments, tests, scans, imaging, and procedures. The process of getting answers has required me and my loved ones to miss work and has brought mounting medical expenses that I am no longer able to keep up with on my own. I have lost traction despite doing everything I can to manage these costs myself.
I’ve always worked multiple jobs and taken pride in supporting myself, but the reality of these diagnoses has made it impossible to keep up with the growing costs. My HSA is exhausted, my deductible has started over, and bills come in nearly daily for past scans, lab work, facility costs, anesthesia, and providers, with additional costs to come. Just last week, my portion for a single facility cost was significant, and these expenses are adding up quickly. Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward my medical bills, helping to ease the burden so I can focus on my health and healing. Through it all, I fully believe in God, have strong faith, and trust His plan for my life. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my anchor verses, and I know that sometimes we need to allow others to help us in difficult times. I am learning to accept that support with gratitude.
Your support—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, sharing this fundraiser, or simply sending encouraging thoughts—means more to me than words can express. In this extremely overwhelming time, I am truly and sincerely grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you for standing with me.
