My name is Sarah. I am a single mom raising my boys to be what I think are fine young men. I am a very giving person. I am always helping others before taking care of myself. I usually don't let anything stand in my way. I love my career and what I do.

My door is always open and my coffee is always hot. I like to cook and host for people. Love making people happy. My life was going very well. Career was taking off, the kids were doing good in school. What could go wrong?
Because of my past mistakes we are now facing eviction. So instead of us focusing on the holidays and me on my treatment. We are trying to overcome this situation and trying to figure out what our next moves are
I've tried getting help from the county yet with me not working they say they might not be able to help with emergency service because I can't guarantee that I can maintain my home. So I am asking for all the help I can get to save our family for the holidays and keep us in our home

On Jan 31, 2023, I had my first heart attack and had to make lifestyle changes. I did for a while, then went right back to motivated me. That was until June 14, 16, and 19 when I had 3 more heart attacks in my LAD (widow maker). I spent 15 days between 3 hospitals and med changing. That August, I went for further testing and found out it is genetic and it will always be there.

After all that, something inside me broke. I started going into a downward spiral. Wasn't taking care of myself, living my life however I wanted to until one day something inside me said I couldn't do it anymore and I put myself into detox with the help of my family.

I've spent the last 4 months in treatment trying to regain myself and get back to that healthier lifestyle and make a better life for my kids. That was until Monday, November 10th. I was leaving treatment and on my way to work, and I stepped out the door and stepped wrong, shattering my ankle and breaking the bone in my leg. I was unable to work and I cannot bear weight at all. To top it all off, it's my driving foot, so I'm stuck.

My surgery was Thursday, the 13th of November, and it was supposed to be a simple one and a half hour procedure but ended up being 4 hours because they had to reconstruct my heel and my ankle. They were completely shattered and dislocated from the tibia and fibula, and my fibula was broken in half. They had to put a stitch in there to hold it together. I will be casted for a minimum of 8 weeks, unable to put any weight or drive anywhere on my right foot. They say full healing is going to be anywhere from 6 months to a year with appointments, physical therapy, and considering it's my driving foot, it really puts a damper on my career as a hairstylist.

I am working with anybody and everybody that I can to get help through these times. It just gets hard when the holidays are around. Thanks for your support. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, asking for financial help. Thank you for reading and understanding.
