Support Sarah's Journey to Graduation at Cottey
Donation protected
NEW Update: WE DID IT! She's paid and headed to class! Your donations of any amount mean so much to Sarah and Cottey has been amazed at the support! However, it turns out Sarah took out $3500 every semester - and so will walk away with student loans to pay off. If we get donations over and above the amount Sarah needs, we will send that money to the student loan company!
As a Cottey Grad, I love to help out every woman who wants a quality education. My daughter, Cheyenne Main, brought her friend's struggles to my attention. Please consider helping Sarah Chapman finish her last semester at Cottey! - Mary-Frances O'Dea
From Sarah:
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Chapman, and I’m currently an International Relations and Organizational Leadership major in my final semester at Cottey College. Over the past few years, I’ve been deeply involved in my International Relations department. I take part in our Model United Nations (UN) every year, and I spent a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica. While actively being involved on campus, I am also one of my campus’s Resident Assistants (RA). I help take care of our residents and guide them through their college career.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in funding my last semester so I can cross the finish line and achieve my goal of earning my degree. I am a first-generation college student, and I pay for my education all on my own. I have worked multiple jobs over my years at Cottey to further my education and my goals, but this last semester, I have struggled, and due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now asking for your help!
Thank you for considering supporting me on this journey—it truly means the world! If you have any questions or want to learn more about my story, feel free to reach out.
