A dear friend of mine, Sarah, has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of lyme disease, and her body has started attacking itself. She will be entering an extremely hard chapter of her life as she gets the treatment she needs to heal.

They will be working with a Lyme Disease and Co Infections specialist in Washington DC. Thankfully their trips to DC will be minimal and they can keep most of the treatment local. However, insurance does not cover everything in the treatment plan and they are looking at a long road ahead.
