Stand by Sarah Spacek as she beats AML Leukemia

Thank you for visiting this page. It’s dedicated to Sarah Spacek (35). She is a wife to her wonderful husband, Jesse, and a mother to three beautiful kids Juliana(6), Ella (4) and Liam (1).

Sarah’s story…

On October 11, Sarah and her family’s world turned upside down - unexpectedly she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Her doctor informed them that it is an agressive cancer and treatment needed to start that day. Sarah was admitted to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus that evening.

So many emotions as they process this new reality. Sarah has to stay in the hospital to receive continuous chemo among other interventions. Her course of treatment is still evolving as her doctors evaluate how her body is responding.

As Sarah fights this disease, her husband Jesse said, “We are reminded of all God’s promises. We cling to Him and trust His plan for our lives. He is with us. The amount of love, support, and prayers from everyone has been overwhelming and so welcomed. We ask for continued prayers for Sarah as she has a long difficult journey in front of her with so many unknowns. We ask for prayers for the doctors and medical medical staff as they gather new information and recommend Sarah’s next steps. We ask for prayers for our children as they question why mommy isn’t around but embrace the love from our parents and close friends as they take a bigger role in their daily lives.”

Sarah is just starting her battle against leukemia, and we know her enormous team of supporters are ready to fight alongside her. It’s hard to anticipate what you might need when a difficult journey like this is placed before you. We have created this account to offer an opportunity for anyone who may personally know the Spaceks or not, to show love and support for them during this difficult time. Any contributions made here could be used for meals, medical expenses, extra items that Sarah may need to make her hospital stay more comfortable, etc.

Sarah’s positive attitude and determination has been nothing short of inspirational, and she asks for continued prayers, as the ultimate source of peace and healing comes from the Lord.

Sarah has a heart of gold and truly gives her all to everything and everyone. There is no doubt that these treatments will take a physical and emotional toll on her and her family. Our goal as her team of supporters is to alleviate some of the stress so that Sarah can focus on recovery and getting back to her beautiful family and doing all the things she loves.
