Support Sarah's Epic 2700-Mile Bike Adventure

On July 30th, 2024, I will ride my bike 2700 miles from Canada to New Mexico on an established route called The Great Divide. Oh yes, by bike :D

I'm young, wild, and free. Cliché, but seriously! It has been 3 years of being self-employed, taking control of my health, going on weekend bike-packing adventures, and staying focused on one day riding this route! I will not only be traveling on my bike but living off of it, carrying shelter, food, and water. Among many unknowns during the ride, there are a few knowns that are quite nerve-wracking, which is why I've made this to share with you.

Preparation to be jobless for over a month is harder than I imagined. Being self-employed has its pros and cons. I do not know how long this ride will take, which is fine for "time off" but very difficult to prepare for financially. A month or so long adventure seems beyond cosmic in my mind, but the burden of no income bears a heavier load than my bike.

In my heart, living just to "survive" isn't going to cut it. I know most of you reading this know exactly what I'm talking about. The emotions tied to something so simple but powerful is what led me to this route. Things I know for certain are love comes from experiences and whom you share them with. Never say no to opportunity and YOU create the life you live. I really want that for everyone.
