Support Sarah's Dream Art Studio

My name is Sarah, I'm 27 years old and I have been painting for most of my life. Art is my passion. In February 2024 I quit my day job of 2 years to pursue art full time. I specialize in Paint Party fundraisers and through my classes, I donate a portion of all ticket sales to various charitable agencies. I have done work for Children's National Hospital, wildlife conservancy groups, scholarship foundations, and animal shelters. I recently received the opportunity of a lifetime, to open my own art studio, through a small business startup grant which pays for the first 6 months of my studio rent. However, I still need help getting furniture, as the grant does not cover the full scope of the studio costs beyond rent. I am still very grateful for this opportunity regardless and I have a hard time asking for help. I'm used to being the one helping and not the other way around. My vision for this studio is an artist collective, to give visibility to other local artists in my area and to continue to give back to the community. I want to inspire and encourage others to pay kindness forward. If you are inspired by my story, please know that even $5 helps.
