Support Sarah's Skin Cancer Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Hey everyone! Recently my sister Sarah was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer. It started as a small spot on her nose, but progressed quickly beyond just a strange little sore. She quickly made an appointment with a surgeon and underwent treatment to remove the cancer and reconstruction of the skin on her nose. The treatment was successful and the healing process has begun. She might end up with a lightning bolt shaped scar along the front of her nose which I think will add to her sweet, but bad ass persona. Like any medical procedure, the cost was expensive. She was unable to get financing for the operation so I'm reaching out to friends and loved ones that may be willing to help with the procedure and future treatment costs. Being diagnosed with cancer or any serious disease can be traumatic for profound reasons, but Sarah is being positive and appreciating all the beautiful things in life. My wonderful Mom, Susie and Sarah's awesome husband Curtis are there with her to support her through this unexpected situation. Thanks so much for reading this! Any help would be very much appreciated. Sincerely, her brother, Andy.
