Sarah is my Pink Warrior Sister. This dear, sweet friend needs to have surgery to do lymphedema repair and reconstruction as part of her ongoing fight against breast cancer. The surgery will be in a city 4 hours away and will require her to have to pay for lodging, gas, food, etc. during this part of the process. She will be unable to work during this time. She hasn't been able to work because of all the complications from the lymphedema. A breast cancer journey is very stressful and takes such of a toll on personal finances and on self-esteem. Sarah is a very giving person and I know she will pay it forward someday but she needs our help now. Let's help Sarah get through this next portion of her fight by easing the burden a little bit.
