Support Sarah's Battle Against Metastatic Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Sarah, a 32-year-old married mother of a 17-month-old child, has been battling breast cancer for nearly two years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer only a month after joyfully learning that she and her husband were expecting a child. She has gone through chemotherapy during and after her pregnancy, as well as two surgeries to remove the cancer. Her child was born prematurely, and she nurtured them through 100 days in the NICU while undergoing treatment for cancer. In spite of it all, she recently learned that her cancer has metastasized and is infecting her lungs. She continues to fight for life and wishes above all to live to mother her child; to see them learn, develop, and grow, and to see them off to school.
Sarah has worked hard her entire life, earning bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in music performance. She is an accomplished musician who plays with local bands.
Sarah does have health insurance, but deductibles and copays are a strain for her young family. New and even experimental treatments are extremely expensive and require unpaid leave from work.
Please consider donating to help with Sarah’s treatments. Any funds not used to treat Sarah will be donated to support breast cancer research.
