Hello, I am raising funds for my daughter, Sarah's medical expenses. Sarah is 24yrs old and was recently diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) on 7/1/24. This news was devastating to us. She went to the ER for chest pain on 6/27/24, after doing extensive testing and blood work her results were a cause for concern. The doctors admitted her into the hospital for future testing. This included a Bone Marrow biopsy. On Monday 7/1/24 she was diagnosed with AML in the aggressive form. They had her start Chemo on 7/2/24. The hospital stay will be well over 21 days for this visit alone. The treatments/follow ups ect. are a minimum of 1 yr. This includes a bone marrow transplant, blood transfusions and several other procedures. The doctors are stating she is unable to live alone, drive or work for a minimum of 1yr.
