Aloha friends and family,
As some of you may have heard, our dear friend Sarah Rose recently suffered a devastating injury at the gym—breaking her neck and fracturing several vertebrae in her back. This unexpected and traumatic event has left her in an incredibly vulnerable position, heavily dependent on others as she faces a long and challenging road to recovery.
Here’s a message directly from her:
“As some of you know, I recently suffered a severe spinal injury and underwent emergency surgery after breaking several vertebrae in my neck. Every doctor told me I was incredibly lucky to be alive and not paralyzed. I truly believe I was protected by God, and I’m deeply grateful for this second chance. I want to honor it by healing fully and living with even more purpose and faith. The recovery journey is long, but I’m making steady progress. Right now, I’m in a hard neck brace, followed by several months in a soft brace. My movement is limited, but I’m surrounded by loving support—especially my amazing God Sisters who have been caring for me day and night.”
For years, Sarah Rose has dedicated her time and energy to supporting others, whether through non-profit work, offering a helping hand in times of crisis, or providing guidance and care to those in need. She has always been someone people can count on—whether it's through community support, wellness initiatives, or simply offering a compassionate ear in difficult times. Her heart for others has always been a guiding force in her life.
Now, as she focuses on her recovery, Sarah Rose finds herself in need of support. Her ability to work is limited, making it difficult to cover her living and medical expenses. To make matters worse, her computer recently died, leaving her without the tools to continue her professional work. These challenges have intensified the financial strain of her recovery.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:
* Emergency spinal surgery and ongoing medical bills
* Physical therapy and recovery costs
* Basic living expenses such as rent, groceries, and utilities
* A new laptop computer
This is our opportunity to give back to someone who has given so much to others. We’re reaching out to you to ask for your help during this time. If you are able to contribute, we would be deeply grateful. If not, sharing her story or offering a prayer means the world as well. Every kind gesture makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
