If you’ve ever had the joy of meeting Sarah Robinson, you know she’s a force — radiant, wise, endlessly compassionate, and strong in all the ways that truly matter. I met Sarah at Azusa Pacific University, where her laughter lit up every room and her heart naturally drew people in. She has always been the kind of person who shows up — for her friends, her community, and now, her family — even when she’s the one in need.
Sarah has been courageously battling breast cancer, a journey that no one ever imagines themselves on. Her diagnosis came as a shock — the kind of moment that halts life and resets everything. But Sarah, in true form, has faced every appointment, procedure, and sleepless night with quiet strength and grace. She’s not just fighting for herself and the full life she still has ahead of her.
As anyone who has faced cancer knows, the emotional toll is only part of the story. The financial burden is crushing — mounting medical bills, time off work, travel to and from specialists, alternative therapies not covered by insurance — it adds up fast. And no one should have to choose between care and basic necessities.
This is where we come in. Sarah needs the Winter off of work to heal, repair her body and focus her mental energy on her own growth.
We’re launching this GoFundMe campaign to rally around Sarah the way she has so often rallied around others. Every dollar raised will go directly toward easing the financial strain of her treatment and recovery. Whether it’s $5 or $500, every contribution is a thread in the safety net she so deserves.
If you can’t give, please consider sharing this campaign and sending Sarah a note of encouragement. Cancer is isolating — let’s remind her she’s not alone.
Let’s show up for Sarah like she’s always shown up for others. Let’s help her heal without the added stress of how she’ll afford to.
With love and gratitude,
Andrea Steele (and friends of Sarah)
