There are moments in life when faith is no longer theoretical, and it becomes the only thing holding you upright. This is one of those moments for Sarah Kayleen.

Sarah is a woman whose life has been marked by deep love, adventure, fierce strength, and a generous heart that knows no limits. She has always been a light to those around her and such a force in this world with a huge network of friends; many of which feel more like family. This is testament to her caring, loving and amazing heart. She also has an incredible, supportive family always by her side. Anyone who knows Sarah knows that she loves freely, shows up fully, and lives with intention and grace.

Just a few months ago, Sarah received the devastating diagnosis of a rare type of ovarian cancer that originates in her germ cells and only makes up 2% of all ovarian cancers. She is already in stage 3. Since this diagnosis, she has undergone major surgery to remove what her surgeon described as extensive and very aggressive cancer, including the removal of her left ovary and surrounding tissue throughout her abdomen. While this surgery was lifesaving, cancer remains in her body, and the journey ahead is only beginning.

Before starting chemotherapy, Sarah traveled to Seattle to undergo fertility-preserving treatment, a critical step in protecting her future, which is not covered by her insurance. Now she is about to pursue aggressive and specialized cancer treatments, which may require extended travel and care, potentially even outside of the United States. This road will involve long periods away from home, intense physical and emotional demands, and overwhelming financial costs.

During this time, Sarah will be unable to work and will need support for medical expenses, travel, housing, and basic living needs. No one should have to fight for their life while also worrying how to survive financially.

Through it all, Sarah continues to walk forward with unwavering faith, courage and humility. She trusts that God is still writing her story and that He is not finished with her yet. Scripture reminds us that God does not give us more than we can handle, especially when we are surrounded by community, prayer, and love. Sarah is facing this battle the same way she has faced everything in her life: head-on, powerfully, and with her eyes fixed on hope.
