Support Sarah Grace in her Recovery
Donation protected
Sarah Grace Richardson is a kind, loving mother to her 20 month old son and newborn. She brings light to everyone she meets. Sarah and her husband Thomas came home from the hospital on Sunday, April 19 after delivering their baby boy, Everett. The next day Sarah felt increasingly weak, and when she awoke after a rest, she had lost all feeling in her right arm and leg. Thomas rushed her to the ER. A CT scan showed signs of blood clots. Her mother, father and pastor were able to see her briefly, before she was transferred to Methodist Hospital.
Being the selfless and considerate person she is, her mother said, “In true Sarah fashion, she apologized to us,” for having to make the drive to the hospital. Because of Covid-19, no one was allowed to go into Methodist with Sarah. At Methodist, she received an MRI that showed multiple clots in the veins around her brain, and was started on medication to try to break up the clots. Though Sarah is in critical condition, she is stable. No new clots have formed as of April 23, but her paralysis hasn’t improved.
Sarah Grace brings immense joy, not just to our family, but to every person she meets. To quote her mother, “If you know Sarah at all, you know she is selfless, looks for good in every situation, has the heart of a servant, and is like sunshine in human form.” She truly radiates warmth, happiness and love. Her family and friends are praying for her recovery, but Sarah will need our support to face the coming months of physical rehabilitation. Please give whatever you can to support Sarah and her young family. Even a few dollars can help.
