Support Sarah Chavez road to being a survivor!

I will never forget the words when Sarah called me… “1 in 7 you assholes so I’m taking one for the team!” Leave it to Sarah to be the team player. She’s always taking care of us so now it’s our turn to take care of her.

In late August, Sarah got the devastating news that she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer), both in her breast and lymph nodes. Her type of cancer has required her to have a 20 week journey of chemotherapy totaling 16 sessions in that time. She has already conquered 2 like the champion she is.

During the last month Sarah has undergone multiple tests, biopsies, scans, painful surgeries, MRIs and unfortunately they have found an additional spot on her liver as well as her head. She was notified that the cancer on her liver will need surgery to remove. The cancer on her head is capable of getting radiation, however it is concerning because if not treated fast enough it can force its way through the bone to the brain.

As you can imagine, unexpected expenses are piling up fast and our goal is to relieve Sarah’s family of as much as we can.

A lot of you know who Sarah Chavez is but for anyone that may not, let me be the first to brag on her behalf. Sarah is an incredible wife to Jiame Chavez and the best mom to little Gwendolyn (age 5). Sarah is the life of the party, #1 on any dance floor, always a smile on her face, up for any adventure, and always the first to help a friend or stranger in need. Sarah is all things good in the world. Even after the unexpected passing of her mom a few years back she has always remained unarguably the most positive and strong human I know. Life has thrown her some of the darkest clouds but Sarah always finds the rainbow.

Sarah & Jiame would never ask for help, so I am stepping in and humbly reaching out. Please consider donating to Sarah and her family in hopes to ease the stress of expenses so she can solely concentrate on kicking cancers butt and starting her road to being a survivor.
