Support Sarah Champion's Medical Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my mom, who is currently in the ICU fighting her second round of septic shock. My mom has been an incredible source of love and strength to me and to everyone who knows her. She is a devoted single mother and a passionate elementary school counselor who spends her days helping children find their voice, their confidence, and their path forward. Right now, she needs all the help and support she can get.

In April, my mom went through a life-threatening medical crisis when a kidney stone became obstructed, leading to septic shock and multiple organ failure, including respiratory, renal, and liver. It was touch and go for a while, but she fought through, and after weeks of treatment, she managed to pull through. Since then, her health has been a constant struggle. She has faced recurring kidney infections, another kidney stone, and just recently, doctors discovered a blood clot in her kidney. This past Monday, she underwent surgery to remove the blood clot and the second stone, but complications arose, and she was readmitted for septic shock yet again to the ICU that very night.

As a single mother, my mom has always worked hard to provide for me and for the children she serves as a counselor. But with her ongoing health issues, she has had to take significant time off work, and the financial strain is taking its toll. The medical bills are piling up, and she is struggling to make ends meet while trying to pay for the excessive medical expenses related to her treatments and recovery.

My mom has dedicated her life to helping others, and now, she needs us. I’m asking for your help to ease some of the burden she is facing. Any contribution you can make will go directly toward her medical bills, her ongoing treatment, and helping her get back on her feet so she can return to doing the work she loves, and being the amazing mother she has always been.
