Support Sarah and Her Cats After Fire Tragedy

Hi, my name is Sarah, and my 2 cats and I survived the fire at Vine Court in Belltown on July 10, 2024.

Asking for help is so difficult, but right now we could really use it. After nursing my sick parents for a few years, I was so happy to make a home in Belltown and re-establish myself. The day before my birthday tragedy struck. I was woken up in the middle of the night to most people's worst nightmare. My apartment building was on fire.

Some of my friends and neighbors lost everything, including their lives. I feel so lucky that we made it, but we are far from recovered.

Due to the contamination from the fire, I am no longer able to live in my home and will have to be relocated. That means extra funds to move, pet deposits, and replacing all of my belongings from clothes to household items. I have taken a second job to try and rebuild and make my way forward, there just isn't enough time before I have to be out to do it alone.
