Hello my name is Sarah Book,

Im a Music Therapy Major, This summer I have been granted the honor of traveling to Szczecin, Poland to be a part of the Euro Arts Academy Summer 2025, from July 13 to July 19th. This opportunity is a worldwide event that I have the honor of being invited amongst hundreds of participants. As a participant, this prestigious program allows me to advance my musical training by attending daily master classes under the direction of Dr. Rus, access to free practice facilities, and an opportunity to showcase my musical development through public recitals. These performance opportunities allow me to refine my technical skills through my solo repertoire and acquire new performance techniques.

My participation represents the results of high-level mentorship at Sam Houston State University under the teachings of Dr. Ilonka Rus. Through this opportunity, I look forward to honoring Sam Houston State University and Dr. Ilonka Rus in my travels to the Euro Arts Academy in Poland by representing the institution's magnificent faculty.

Funds and donations will help me to focus on achieving this life-changing opportunity to deepen my artistic skills through a better understanding of my solo piano repertoire. This experience will also allow me to gain international experience that will help further my professional music career. I am looking forward to representing my institution internationally through the Euro Arts Academy.

Hello my name is Henry Torrealba Adames,

I'm a Sam Houston State University senior majoring in Piano performance. I'll be starting my Graduate studies in Fall 25, as part of my traveling research this summer, I have been granted the honor of being invited and accepted amongst hundreds of participants across the world to take part in the prestigious Euro Arts Academy Summer 2025 in Szczecin, Poland, from July 13th to July 19th.

This Worldwide event will undoubtedly help me grow exponentially as a musician but most importantly as a person, as I embark on my graduate studies in Piano Performance here at Sam Houston. The Euro Arts Academy offers me opportunities of a live time participating in master's classes under the direction of Dr. ILonka Rus director of Keyboard Studies at Sam Houston State University, and a full solo concert on a world-renowned stage to culminate the experience.

In addition, the knowledge that I will acquire from this experience in Europe, the life changing connections I will make with other musicians and faculty from around the world, the fine tuning

of my artistic skills will deepen my understanding of my solo piano repertoire, and the amounts of history and culture from Europe I will have the privilege to be a part of will make significant

changes in my musical and personal life, pushing me towards growth and a successful career. I hope to use my academic growth as tools to share here in the Sam Houston community and be an

example to other students and future candidates.

University and Dr. ILonka Rus provide to their students in such a vital part of our lives which is college. Through my musical talents I look forward to honoring my institution and my professor Dr. ILonka Rus in my travels to Poland for the Euro Arts Academy in hopes of bringing

international recognition to Sam Houston State University and its outstanding faculty body.
