Support Sarah After Brenda's Passing

I'm raising funds to help my sister, Sarah Chapman, cover bills as she settles her life after unexpectedly losing her life partner, Brenda Kai Churchill, on January 13 at the age of 67.

Sarah and Brenda found love together late in life, but it was a powerful, soul-connection that was undeniable. Sarah is a chef and abstract artist. Brenda was an LGBTQ+ advocate and member of the Vermont Commission on Women.

Together, they started a new chapter of their lives. They moved into a new apartment together only months before Sarah lost her love on the evening of January 13.

We're absolutely heartbroken for her, and without legally being married, she may lose everything they started building together. I'd like to raise funds to make sure she doesn't lose her new apartment while she mourns the loss of her love. Funds will go to pay her rent, utility bills, and car payment.
