I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister Sarafina Makiese, who was recently struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident. This has been an unbelievably painful and scary time for our family. The driver sped off and was never identified, leaving her with serious injuries and mounting medical bills. She's currently recovering, but it's going to be a long road. She needs help covering medical expenses, treatment, and any ongoing care she'll require. Unfortunately, these costs are far more than what our family can manage alone. My sister is strong, but she shouldn't have to fight this battle by herself.
