Support Sara Kicking Cancer's A (literally)

Sara was diagnosed with stage 3c cancer in December 2024 (after a series of misdiagnoses by multiple specialists). She continued to advocate for herself and finally found an amazing medical team through Mt. Sinai in NYC.

Because of the size & location of the tumor, and localized spread, she immediately started daily chemo and radiation treatments over 6 intense weeks. She took these down with her D1 athletic drive and yogi mentality. Her positive perspective has given so many of us inspiration.

We all know Sara will continue to take this in stride and kick its a* (pun intended). However, some additional treatments and supporting therapy are not covered by insurance. This page was created to provide her with love and support (if not monetary, in comments and prayers) while she continues on this journey ahead.

My goal is for her to be able to explore any additional treatment without the stress of financial impact affecting the course. The community of those who have been touched by and love Sara is strong. We will also use this as a forum to add periodic updates on her journey.

I know it was difficult for Sara to allow this outreach, although we all know this is just as needed for those who love her so dearly and want to support. Please add comments and share your love for "our girl" who is killing it day after day.
