Hey beautiful souls —

Just wanted to drop in with a heartfelt update. First and foremost, thank you — truly, wildly, deeply — for the support, shares, donations, and messages. It’s been humbling in ways I don’t have language for, but please know that your kindness has carried me through some impossibly heavy days.

Bruce (my sweet, floppy-eared soulmate) is thriving with his temporary foster family. He loves his best friend Ladybird, and I’m with him most of the time, which means the world to both of us. I’ve been couch-surfing the rest of the time, staying safe and staying connected.

Still waiting on Section 8 housing (that waitlist is no joke), but I’m finally making strides toward housing support through medical and mental health channels. My body is flaring like a cosmic fireworks show — joints, migraines, vasovagal episodes — you name it. I’m getting the care I need slowly but surely, thanks to the continued help from y’all.

I was able to Uber to critical appointments

I got storage and organizing supplies to help me hold it all together

Right now, I’m facing some uncovered medical expenses, a small overdraft from OTC supplies, and Bruce’s ongoing care needs. June brings more appointments (orthopedic, renal, rheumatology — the whole damn lineup), so I’ll need help with rides and unexpected costs.
