Support Sara Grace's Dream to Cheer at Disney

Hey everyone, I’m Sara Grace. I hope this message finds you well. I have some exciting news to share! I've been given the incredible opportunity to attend the All American Cheer Thanksgiving Parade at Disney World. This is a dream come true for me, but I need a little help to make it happen.

All American Cheer is a recognition given to cheerleaders who demonstrate exceptional skills, leadership, and dedication in the sport of cheerleading. Typically, cheerleaders are nominated or selected during cheer camps or competitions, where they showcase their talent through various routines and cheers. Being named an All American Cheerleader is a prestigious honor and often provides opportunities to participate in special events, parades, and performances.

Over the summer, my team went to UCA Cheer Camp at UNC Chapel Hill. While we were there, we were chosen to try out for All-American. I was up until midnight the night before, practicing my dance routine over and over and over again! Before I tried out, I was sure I wasn’t going to achieve this award because I have never been very confident in my abilities. But then they called my name and gave me my medal and certificate, and it was so amazing! Me and two other girls from my team were picked for this achievement, and we were all stoked! But the reason I was more surprised and amazed than others was because I have been overcoming a mentally and physically challenging injury, which eventually led to me being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.
