Beloved Community,

The moment has arrived for my daughter and I to create a new home. After many years of co-habiting with my co-parent we have shifted our relationship to a friendship and are now ready to embrace independent living. Our cherished child will live in both our homes—she is tender and also excited to have two rooms!

My Dear Ones, I find myself in need of your support to facilitate this transition. This is the first time I am moving while leaving behind much of my collected furniture and household belongings, including beds, dressers, kitchen items, and more, as well as taking on the cost of a move in the Bay Area,

A dear friend of mine encouraged me to ask for help. Initially I hesitated because of the vulnerability and intimacy of this moment. Yet, life is compelling me to grow and extend myself in every conceivable way right now. I trust that by reaching out to you our connection can deepen.

If financial support is not feasible for you right now, and you are local to the Bay Area, I would be immensely grateful for your company as I unpack or for us to sit in the new sunny backyard together.
