Our beloved David recently passed on October 25th, 2024, at home, after a 2-year battle with terminal brain cancer. David was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and best friend who touched the lives of those around him.

Those who knew him knew he loved spending time with his family, friends barbequing, gaming, working in his shop and vacationing with his wife Sara. David cherished his nieces and nephews, spending as much time as he could with them. While spending time with David you’d be laughing at his witty jokes, movie quotes and enjoying his lighthearted and easy-going personality. He genuinely cared for all those close to him, especially his dog Charlie.

David was one in a billion and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of David’s funeral and any unforeseen expenses in the future as Sara navigates this difficult time. David and Sara both had careers to cover their expenses, and Sara will be experiencing challenges related to going from a 2-income household to single income.

A service will be held at Local 302 Operating Engineer’s Training Center, 5400 Cunningham Road, Palmer, AK 99645 on November 10, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm.
